Adobe releases AI agents for customer experience orchestration

Adobe announced the general availability of AI agents to help businesses build, deliver and optimize customer experiences and marketing campaigns. Powered by the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Agent Orchestrator, Adobe is also creating an AI platform for businesses to manage and customize agents from Adobe and across third-party ecosystems, ensuring agents can understand context, plan multi-step actions, and refine responses. AEP, used by businesses to connect real-time data across their organization, anchors Adobe’s offerings in understanding enterprise data, content and workflows.

Adobe also announced the general availability of AEP Agent Orchestrator, including a reasoning engine to drive contextually relevant and goal-oriented automated actions, with support for refinement using a “human-in-the-loop” approach.

Out-of-the-box agents will be available in Adobe applications such as Real-Time Customer Data Platform, Experience Manager, Journey Optimizer, and Customer Journey Analytics.

  • Audience Agent helps teams create and monitor audiences for personalization initiatives.
  • Journey Agent supports building and optimizing customer journeys across channels.
  • Experimentation Agent analyzes test results and suggests optimizations.
  • Data Insights Agent enables visualization and forecasting from customer signals.
  • Site Optimization Agent flags website issues such as broken links or low-performing pages.

DeepL expands real-time voice translation capabilities

DeepL, a global Language AI company, announced several updates to its live speech translation solution, DeepL Voice, including expanded language support and advanced meeting productivity features, with Zoom Meetings integration coming soon.

DeepL Voice provides multilingual speech translation in real time, both virtually and in person. DeepL Voice for Meetings provides translated captions during virtual meetings, while DeepL Voice for Conversations offers instant speech translation on mobile for dynamic face-to-face interactions. Updates include:

  • Expanded language coverage: DeepL Voice now supports spoken input in three additional languages – Mandarin Chinese, Ukrainian, and Romanian – adding to its existing lineup (English, German, Japanese, Korean, Swedish, Dutch, French, Turkish, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Italian). Translated captions are available in 35 languages supported by DeepL Translator, with new additions Vietnamese and Hebrew.
  • Enhanced meeting productivity features: Full transcripts and translations from meetings to streamline notes, minutes and follow-up tasks can be downloaded with dedicated admin controls to maintain enterprise-level security and compliance.

DeepL Voice for Meetings will soon be available for Zoom Meetings, expanding beyond its existing Microsoft Teams integration to make multilingual communication accessible on the virtual meeting platform. For in-person interactions, DeepL Voice for Conversations continues to be available on iOS and Android.

Syncro Soft releases Oxygen AI Positron Assistant 6.0

All Oxygen AI Positron Assistant 6.0 distributions now feature the advanced GPT-4.1 OpenAI model as default. All AI action prompts have improved quality, consistency, and reuse. The users of the Enterprise distribution get new connectors for Google Gemini and Vertex AI, as well as enhanced Microsoft Azure OpenAI integration and simplified configuration.

Oxygen AI Positron Assistant brings automatic validation and correction of AI-generated content, and smarter document context expansion for the AI Positron Fix action. User preferences and rules can be saved as persistent memories. AI context can be supplemented with additional files automatically, or by manually attaching files to conversations, and prompts can be entered using voice input. AI actions can be invoked directly from chat, the Improve Readability action supports audience level customization, and AI development actions are available for more document types.

Oxygen AI Positron Assistant for Eclipse now works with a broader range of editors (Java, Python, C/C++, Perl, and plain text). It offers a dedicated framework for developing custom AI actions, DITA documentation draft generation from configuration files, and AI-enabled templates for rapid creation of XSLT, XSD, Schematron, JSON Schema, and DTD files. Installation and updates are streamlined with the Eclipse update site support.

RWS acquires Papercup’s IP

RWS, a content solutions company powered by technology and human expertise, has acquired the intellectual property behind Papercup’s AI dubbing technology – known for its unique ability to reproduce a speaker’s tone, pace and emotion faithfully.

The acquisition is a strategic step in RWS’s wider plan to embed advanced AI across its technology stack, accelerating its ability to support enterprise clients with multilingual video, voice and content localization across multiple formats and channels.

Papercup’s technology combines voice synthesis, thousands of unique AI voices and editorial tools for human language specialists to fine-tune the output – offering control and quality output comparable to human dubbing by actors and artists, at a fraction of the cost and turnaround time.

While AI-only dubbing tools often fall short on critical elements like timing, voice consistency and speaker identification, RWS’s hybrid approach puts humans in the loop to optimize tone, pacing and accuracy – enabling video dubbing that’s both scalable and brand-consistent.

Enterprise clients can expect to unlock value from video content that was once too expensive or complex to localize. Papercup’s technology will now sit alongside RWS’s existing suite of language technologies – including Language Weaver for neural machine translation and the Trados platform.

TransPerfect launches app for mobile interpretation

Available on the web, iOS, Android, and Microsoft devices, the app makes accessing over-the-phone interpretation and video remote interpretation simple and fast. Box announces AI Platform to bring AI Agents to enterprise content

Box, Inc., an Intelligent Content Management (ICM) platform, announced the next evolution of its Box AI with a new generation of AI Agents designed to transform how organizations work with content. Customers will be able to leverage AI Agents for Search, Deep Research, and enhanced data extraction to uncover more value from their content in Box. Box also introduced a new Box AI Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot that allows users to search, analyze, and act on Box content directly within Microsoft 365.

Box AI Agents are built with a layered approach, starting with enterprise knowledge found in Box, the Agents then leverage AI models from Amazon, Anthropic, Google, IBM, Meta, OpenAI, and xAI to best match the task’s demands. Every Agent is aligned to an objective, and follows a set of structured instructions that guide its actions. Users will be able to interact with Box AI Agents to extract insights from content and automate enterprise workflows. Box AI Agents can also be customized in Box AI Studio. 

Box AI Agents will be able to analyze large volumes of enterprise content to extract meaning and trends — automatically identifying the most relevant files using Box’s secure, permission-aware, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) framework.

Syncro Soft releases Oxygen Content Fusion 8.1

Syncro Soft, developer of the Oxygen XML suite of products, released Oxygen Content Fusion 8.1, a web-based collaboration platform for content creation and review. Version 8.1 is focused on streamlining DITA content management and collaboration by introducing more flexible project creation, enhanced file comparison and merging capabilities, and new AI-enabled features through integration with the Oxygen AI Positron Assistant 5.0.

  • Users can start projects immediately even before linking to a Git repository and create them from predefined templates. Publications from existing DITA-OT project files can be imported and used for editing and validation context.
  • The file comparison and merging tool includes a Differences View to track replies and review comments. Ignoring white-spaces enables focusing on meaningful content differences, rather than cosmetic formatting changes.
  • With AI Positron Assistant 5.0 integration users can attach Word, PowerPoint, and PDF files for context in AI interactions. The DITA document conversion and topic analysis enables restructuring and updating content.
  • Custom AI actions can be developed or existing ones filtered to suit specialized use cases. An external text or Markdown file may be leveraged for prompts.
  • Updated components include the latest Oxygen XML Web Author 27.1.0 for visual XML editing and Oxygen Publishing Engine 27.1.
