IBM Corporation and Inktomi Corp. announced an agreement to provide enterprise content delivery network (eCDN) technology. The solution is designed to enable enterprises to manage and distribute mission-critical business applications, such as ERP, CRM, content management, enterprise portal, and streaming media, including webcasting, e-learning, and corporate communications. Enterprises and service providers can use Inktomi technology running on IBM’s eServer xSeries systems to help overcome network congestion without adding bandwidth and router upgrades.
