Jacada Adds XHTML with Release 7.1 of Interface Server

Jacada Ltd. announced general availability of the Jacada Interface Server 7.1, which adds XHTML generation capability to Jacada’s integrated user interface development and deployment environment. The Jacada Interface Server provides a common user interface layer for both new application development and existing legacy systems. Release 7.1 enables users to generate both Java source code and XHTML graphical user interfaces from a single design from a “what-you-see-is-what-you-get” (WYSIWYG) development environment. eContent 2.0 Adds New Content Management Features

Jcorporate Ltd. announced that it is shipping a new release of eContent. Based on Java, eContent 2.0 includes enhancements to its web content management capabilities, and is now based on both Expresso and Struts, the two dominant OSS Java Web application development frameworks in use. eContent Release 2.0’s new features shift content control to line-of-business users with an improved web browser-based user interface that allows users and developers to publish, maintain and update their Web content efficiently. eContent 2.0 now offers XML content management. Tridion ships DialogServer 4.4 in 5 languages

Tridion announced that it would begin shipping an updated version of its core product, Tridion DialogServer 4.4. The paramount improvement in version 4.4 is the internationalisation and localisation of the software. This version launches Tridion DialogServer as fully localised in 5 languages: English, German, French, Spanish and Dutch. In addition to choosing the language of the interface, users can decide on a regional setting. This determines the way Tridion DialogServer handles sorting, number formatting, date formatting and validation. Language and Locale can be chosen on a per user basis and can be changed on the fly without interrupting the edit session. Inktomi Announces Alliance with Documentum

Inktomi Corp. announced an alliance with Documentum to deliver an integrated, scalable solution for accessing information across the enterprise and within Documentum 4i eBusiness Platform. The Documentum-Inktomi alliance provides enterprises with an integrated solution for finding, sharing and using all forms of content with customers, partners and employees regardless of where the information is located within the network. This integrated solution utilizes the Documentum user and role-based security system, enabling a single user profile to control both content management and retrieval access privileges. SDL & Gauss Cooperate

SDL International announced a strategic partnership with Gauss Interprise AG. The pan-European agreement includes tight integration of SDL’s WebFlow solution with Gauss’ content management solution, VIP ContentManager (Versatile Internet Platform). SDLWebFlow extends the VIP Content Management Solution with capabilities for the management of multilingual content.
