Open Text, InSystems Extend Partnership Targeting Insurance, Financial Services Companies

Open Text Corporation (TSX:OTC)(NASDAQ:OTEX) and InSystems Corporation said they will extend their eight-year partnership and will focus on delivering solutions that improve document processes and regulatory compliance for insurance and financial services companies. The extension of the partnership will mean enhanced integration of Open Text’s Livelink ECM Solutions with InSystems’ specialized document and compliance automation solutions for insurance and financial services companies. The solutions will address a range of compliance mandates, including regulations for managing information on insurance and financial services products, and requirements for financial reporting. Open Text and InSystems will target insurance and financial services companies in the U.S. and Canada. Through the partnership, InSystems’ Calligo and Tracker product lines have been fully integrated with Open Text’s Livelink ECM. Stellent Announces New Retention Management Capabilities for Stellent Universal Content Management 7.5

Stellent, Inc. (Nasdaq: STEL) announced new retention management capabilities for Stellent Universal Content Management 7.5 to cover general content and to allow usage analytics and other factors to drive the content retention and disposition process. These capabilities leverage Stellent Records Management system and include capabilities for single-source discovery and lock down for both records and non-records, automated disposition of content, and control over retention policies for all content, not just records, in the same environment. Stellent Records Management also includes a new graphical method for creating tailored user interfaces and generates records management reports in a variety of formats including HTML, Microsoft Excel, PDF and XML. Inxight Releases StarTree SDK for .NET Developers

Inxight Software announced the general availability of Inxight StarTree SDK 1.0 for .NET, certified by Microsoft. This release provides the StarTree technology and visualization tool to Microsoft .NET developers. New features of the .NET release include link labeling, multi-line text labels, and easy creation of right-click menus. Features also include spotlighting, the ability to include icons and a variety of other controls.

Meridio & Getronics Partner to Offer Enterprise Content Management Solutions

Meridio and Getronics, a provider of managed ICT infrastructure and business solutions, have entered into a partnership to deliver solutions that will help organizations better manage their unstructured data. These solutions will provide organizations with risk and compliance capabilities. Meridio leverages Microsoft applications to deliver desktop ECM solutions exclusively for Microsoft platforms. Xerox DocuShare Records Manager Certified for DOD 5015.2

Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) announced that DocuShare Records Manager software has been certified as compliant under the U.S. Department of Defense Directive 5015.2 standard. Now available in the United States, DocuShare Records Manager helps customers address increasing industry and government regulations and stricter corporate guidelines for records retention. The DOD 5015.2 defines mandatory requirements for records management offerings and assures data is being stored according to government standards. DocuShare Records Manager software is an optional module for DocuShare, Xerox’s secure, Web-based enterprise content management software. DocuShare Records Manager enables workers throughout an organization to easily classify electronic files as records during any part of a work process, knowing that a qualified records manager will review the classification before the documents officially become records. (NASDAQ:IWOV) introduced the new Interwoven Records Manager (IRM) 5.0 product, enabling professional services firms to achieve enterprise content compliance and effective risk management through a unified information management platform incorporating both paper and electronic records. Interwoven IRM 5.0, together with Interwoven WorkSite 8’s engagement/matter centric design, extends the capabilities of records management to the desktops of individual users.
