Vignette Releases Collaboration 7.0

Vignette Corp. (NASDAQ:VIGN) unveiled Vignette Collaboration release 7.0, the latest version of its enterprise collaboration product. Vignette Collaboration brings synchronous and asynchronous collaboration together in one interface, and includes packaged integration with the Instant Messaging server Microsoft Live Communications Server for enhanced synchronous communications. The product’s internationalization enables organizations to display, store, and search content authored in any Unicode supported language simultaneously, including Eastern European and Asian languages (e.g. Russian, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Simplified or Traditional Chinese and more). In addition, Hierarchical Group Support provides easier administration of access policies through better mappings to company directories; Search Engine Enhancements improve search engine integration and robustness; Administration Console Enhancements provide a simplified interface; Reduction of the number of clicks for common actions and provide in-place editing of documents, and more. Jalios JCMS 5.5 Available

The latest version of JCMS brings enterprises higher performance and much larger data volumes. Its ergonomics have been refined, making it even easier to use. SearchBlox Unveils Content Search Software for the OEMs

SearchBlox Software, Inc. has released Version 3.1 of its Content Search Software with a REST-API that allows custom content to be indexed and searched. Other new features in this release include Spelling Suggestions for search queries and support for JDK 1.5. The API is available in the SearchBlox Free Edition, the Enterprise Edition and the Distributed Edition for Akamai EdgeComputing Platform. SearchBlox is available as a Web Component for all major J2EE Application Servers and as a standalone application for Windows and Mac OS X platforms. WebSideStory & Touch Clarity Partner

Touch Clarity, a supplier of automated content targeting software announced that they have partnered with WebSideStory. Touch Clarity’s content targeting software increases conversions and customer engagement online by building profiles of visitors to large consumer web sites based on behavior and uses those profiles to target content to them.
