EMC Corporation announced the immediate availability of EMC Documentum Enterprise Content Integration (ECI) Services, a software product that enables users to discover, access and assimilate structured and unstructured information from multiple internal and external sources, in multiple languages, with one query. Through a single sign on, Documentum ECI Services enables integration of heterogeneous content — from enterprise applications, databases, content management systems and groupware to Internet sources, such as web search engines, industry-specific databases, local archives, government portals and syndicated content providers. Analytics capabilities enable end-users to access and analyze the results of their queries across multilingual content sources. Documentum ECI Services is part of the EMC’s virtual repository strategy that enables customers to discover and manage unstructured content wherever it resides.
