Language Weaver, Inc. announced general availability of its application software upgraded to version 2.2. New or improved features include: A friendlier, easier-to-read and more informative web client for the client-server application; Translation job queuing when using the web client for the client-server application; Optional web client user authentication; Multithreading, which enables users to process translations up to 20 percent faster on a dual-CPU system; Transliteration control for applicable language pairs, which allows users to independently toggle display of unknown words and transliteration of unknown words; and Browser support for Netscape 7.1 and higher, in addition to Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and above. Language Weaver has upgraded all language pairs to be compatible with the new application software. Those customers upgrading from a previous version will need to replace their language pair CDs, which are available from Language Weaver at no additional charge.
