Jeff Arcuri has over 18 years of event management experience in the for-profit and the non-profit arenas. For nine years, he served as Vice President of Events and Marketing for Mitch Hall Associates, successfully managing MacWorld Expo, and ComNet for the International Data Group, E3 for the Electronic Gaming Association, and the Solaris Conference for Sun Microsystems. In 1998 Jeff joined the Association for Information and Image Management as Vice President of Events and Marketing. He helped to grow the AIIM Show and Conference, diversify the association’s exhibitor base, and helped to focus the association’s direction in the Content Management industry. While at AIIM, Jeff was instrumental in launching a series of smaller conference programs domestically and in Europe that complemented the existing event schedule. IBM DB2 Content Manager Express is available as of October 14, 2003. It is priced at $9,375 per server and $1,063.00 per concurrent user. IBM DB2 Content Manager for Linux is available as of October 21, 2003. It is priced at $29,000 per Server and $2,500 per concurrent user and is available for RedHat, SuSe, and United Linux. IBM DB2 Records Manager version 3 is available as of September 9, 2003, and is priced at $24,000 per server and $250 per concurrent user. Software AG, Inc. announced the availability of EntireX XML Gateway, which enables organizations to publish Adabas data using XML and Web services. EntireX XML Gateway harnesses XML technology to enable the generation and deployment of Web services that read or update data in Adabas. The product includes a browser-based administration tool that supports the deployment of the generated Web services, as well as an adapter that enables access to Adabas (adapters to other relational database management systems are available). EntireX XML Gateway is currently available on Windows 2000 and Windows XP, as well as Sun Solaris 7 and 8; additional platforms are planned. Access to Adabas is supported on all platforms.
