Intraspect Software, Inc. introduced the Intraspect Collaboration Solution for BEA WebLogic Portal 8.1, in conjunction with the launch of WebLogic Portal 8.1 and WebLogic Platform 8.1 by BEA Systems, Inc. The joint solution allows organizations to augment their BEA-based corporate portals with a full suite of collaboration and knowledge management capabilities to enhance corporate portals. The two technologies can allow users to create contextual communities within the BEA corporate portal that manage collaboration and knowledge around products, services, functions, expertise, customers, or other areas relevant to an organization.
