XSplit, Free Utility to Convert HTML into XML, XSL, Available

ScanSoft to Acquire Caere

ScanSoft, Inc. and Caere Corp. jointly announced that the companies have entered into a definitive agreement whereby ScanSoft will acquire Caere in a transaction valued at more than $140 million. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of April, subject to the approval of the stockholders of each company. IT FACTORY announced that Documentaal will integrate its BowTie software with IT FACTORY’s ITF Business Suite. HP Changengine to be Integrated with Bluestone

Hewlett-Packard Company and Bluestone Software announced an agreement to integrate Bluestone’s XML Suite Integration Server into HP Changengine, a business-process management system, to enable more flexible and dynamic B2B trading. This integration will allow B2B communications to make use of XML data formats and enable the entire business process to be managed by HP Changengine software, while taking advantage of Bluestone’s scalability, fault tolerance and open standards design.
