ClearStory Systems, Inc. announced the release of ActiveMedia 6.0, a J2EE digital asset management (DAM) software application. ActiveMedia 6.0 is built on ClearStory’s Radiant Enterprise Media Server (EMS). ActiveMedia 6.0 offers handling of compound documents such as QuarkXpress and Adobe InDesign, as well as video, flash, presentations, and graphics. ActiveMedia 6.0 offers an n-tier, J2EE design that supports the scalability requirements of modern DAM implementations. Its Web-based user interface offers rich functionality to support global marketing implementations. Enhanced features include a metadata engine, a robust asset-level security model, and functionality for managing complex video, multi-media graphics, compound documents and other rich media.
