IONA announced a global alliance with DataChannel Inc. under which the two companies have agreed to engage in joint sales activities. Under the terms of the agreement, DataChannel will integrate its product, DataChannel Server, (DCS) with IONA’s iPortal Application Server 3.0. DataChannel’s enterprise portal platform supports iPortal Application Server 3.0 today, and will deploy on iPortal Application Server in future releases. In addition, IONA announced that it has signed a reselling relationship with DataChannel.
