ClearForest announced ClearTags 4.0, a comprehensive auto-tagging platform. Inktomi Search Architect Edition combines Watchfire Enterprise Solution with Inktomi Enterprise Search 4.3 for automating the practice of preparing content for search engine indexing. Inktomi Search Architect Edition automatically scans and analyzes enterprise content for problems that can impact its ability to be searched and quickly and accurately adds keyword metadata (such as page titles, alt tags, author tags and description tags) to improve the accessibility and ranking of that content. Inktomi Corp. and Interwoven, Inc. announced an agreement to deliver a combined solution that will offer an enhanced search experience by providing access to the most current and accurate corporate content. The Inktomi-Interwoven alliance will enable Inktomi Enterprise Search to immediately index documents managed by Interwoven TeamSite and MetaTagger. The alliance will more closely link the content creation and discovery process by enabling Inktomi Enterprise Search to automatically index documents managed by Interwoven’s content management software. The search engine will instantly crawl new documents as soon as they are published, allowing enterprises to maintain a more current index and ensure that users have immediate access to new corporate information.
