Stellent Announces Packaged Consulting Service Offerings for Content Management

Stellent, Inc. announced the availability of five new packaged consulting service offerings for its Stellent Universal Content Management solutions. These new service offerings are provided by Stellent Consulting Services. The group is organized into three primary competency areas: Program Management and Business Analysis, Enterprise Architecture and Integration Engineering, and Application Development and Consulting. Stellent’s packaged service offerings consist of: Implementation Scoping, System Architecture Assessment and Design, Implementation Roadmap, Implementation Advisor, and Upgrade Analysis.

Ecordia Announces Content Management System Targeted at Marketing Professionals

Ecordia Technologies announces the launch of Ecordia, a web-based Marketing Management System (MMS) that empowers the marketing professional with the features of an enterprise CRM system, web-based site management, and statistical reporting. Through secured web-based administration, the corporate marketing professional can have complete, real-time control over the entire website (or selected parts) without the need to involve IT resources. Ecordia shares many of the features found in enterprise level Content Management Systems (CMS) — real-time content development, publishing roles, and version rollback. Like a CMS system, Ecordia provides users with a website that they can manage in real-time from any Internet browser. But Ecordia is targeted at providing corporate marketing professionals with a CMS that supports their primary business — communicating about the company with customers.

Ephox Updates EditLive!

Ephox introduced major enhancements to their browser-based authoring software products, EditLive! for Windows 3.0 and EditLive! for Java 3.0. With these releases, Ephox further enables non-technical users to contribute content to content management systems and other content-driven applications. EditLive! for Java 3.0 delivers a cross-platform solution across a wide range of platforms: Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Sun Solaris. Ephox is also now offering support for Apple’s new Safari browser. EditLive!’s enhanced capabilities include faster performance, cascading style sheets (CSS), and enhanced table editing. EditLive! for Java 3.0 is internationalized and available in multiple languages. An evaluation version can be downloaded. Comergent Acquires Profile Systems

Comergent Technologies, Inc. announced its acquisition of Profile Systems, Inc., developer of product information (PIM) and inventory management solutions for business-to-business e-business. Under the terms of the agreement, Comergent Technologies has acquired all the outstanding Profile Systems shares and technology. Profile Systems employees have been retained in the West Springfield, Massachusetts office. The acquisition joins two complementary business-to-business demand chain management software solutions that help manufacturers, resellers, and distributors optimize their product data and order management lifecycles. Comergent’s acquisition of Profile Systems closed on January 5, 2004 and the former executive management team of Profile Systems has been retained.
