Fuji Xerox to Distribute INSCI Products in Singapore

INSCI Corp. announced that it has entered into an agreement with Fuji Xerox Singapore to market and sell INSCI software products and services throughout Singapore. This agreement is an extension of the original agreement between INSCI and Fuji Xerox, in which Fuji Xerox acts as a reseller of INSCI software products in several other Asian countries. According to the announcement by INSCI Chairman and Chief Executive Officer E. Ted Prince, Ph.D., Fuji Xerox will focus its sales and marketing efforts on customers who need to view production print documents online and on Internet Web sites, which is becoming a rapidly increasing customer requirement. http://www.insci.com.

Cascade Systems Names Robert Angelo President & CEO

Object Design Names Justin Perreault President & CEO

Object Design, Inc. announced that Justin J. Perreault has been named the company’s new president and chief executive officer. Perreault, who had previously been the company’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, succeeds Robert N. Goldman, who will continue to serve as the company’s chairman of the board. Perreault joined Object Design as executive vice president and chief operating officer in November 1995. Blue Angel Technologies Announces New XMLTool

Blue Angel Technologies Tuesday announced MetaDoor InterChange, an XML authoring tool that generates XML from desktop applications like Microsoft Word and Excel. MetaDoor InterChange separates the data entry process from the record structure so that data entry forms can hide XML from users. MetaDoor InterChange is the latest addition to Blue Angel’s suite of XML enabled software solutions. Dataware Technologies Acquires Sovereign Hill Software

Dataware Technologies, Inc. today announced that it has purchased the assets and assumed selected liabilities of Sovereign Hill Software, Inc. The total estimated transaction cost of approximately $4.0 million is currently anticipated to result in a one-time write-off of in-process research and development of between $2.0 to $3.0 million in the quarter ended December 31, 1998. The purchase price included 200,000 shares of Dataware Common Stock and warrants to purchase 40,000 additional shares of Dataware Common Stock priced at $6.00 per share. Although year-end results are not complete, Dataware currently estimates that earnings per share for the fourth quarter of 1998, prior to one- time charges, will be in line with analysts’ estimates. Final fourth quarter and year-end 1998 results will be announced on February 11, 1999. David Mahoney, Sovereign Hill’s current CEO, will join Dataware as president and CEO. Adobe Buys GoLive Systems

Adobe Systems Inc. has acquired the assets of GoLive Systems Inc., a privately-held company whose products include the GoLive CyberStudio professional Web publishing software. The acquisition gives Adobe a professional Web publishing platform to market alongside its graphics and imaging software. The acquisition also brings a number of high-profile clients, such as Aware Records, Music Boulevard, Cartoon Network, Warner Bros.
