Kentico introduces Kentico Xperience

Kentico Software announced the launch of Kentico Xperience, a new brand for its digital experience platform (DXP). Kentico EMS previously their combined content management, digital marketing, and commerce capabilities in a single platform. The new brand, Kentico Xperience, replaces product names Kentico CMS and Kentico EMS, and emphasizes the digital experience capabilities available in the platform. As part of the product brand launch, Kentico has two new websites. for core company information, and dedicated to its digital experience platform.

Kentico Releases CMS 5.0

Kentico Software announced the release of Kentico CMS 5.0 for ASP.NET. The new version is aimed at enhancing enterprise-level performance and scalability for large sites along with usability changes and a new Widgets technology. It can handle a database of 100,000 pages and 1,000,000 site members. It also comes with support for SQL Server Replication which, together with existing support for Web farms, allows for high availability and scalability. Kentico CMS 5.0 also comes with improvements in the user interface, including personalization of dialogs based on user roles or support for bulk operations with large number of pages. The new Widgets technology allow content editor to insert dynamic functionality into the page or build completely new page layouts without developer’s help. Kentico CMS 5.0 for ASP.NET can be downloaded as a free 30-day trial or it can be trialed on-line through Kentico Virtual Lab.

Kentico Launches New Partner Portal

Kentico Software launched a new version of their Partner Program for Web design agencies, supported by a new Partner Portal. The new portal is used by 900 active Kentico Solution Partners located in 80 countries. The main goal of the new program is to support partners in delivering Web sites with Kentico CMS for ASP.NET. The Partner Program divides partners into 3 levels: Partner, Certified Partner and Gold Certified Partner, based on Partner Points. 39% of their partners come from Europe, 35% from North America, 11% from Asia, 10% from Australia, 3% from Africa and 2% from South America. Kentico, Applied Innovations to Offer Solution for .NET User Groups

Kentico Software and Applied Innovations a Microsoft Gold Certified provider of Windows-based Hosting solutions, announced the two companies have partnered to offer a free Web site solution for .NET User Groups. The solution, available through Kentico’s partnership with Applied Innovations, allows local .NET developer communities to collaborate between community members. Users will receive a free license of Kentico CMS Enterprise Edition (valued at $1,499) and a ready-to-use Web site template that helps .NET User Groups to share information with group members; inform members about group meetings; publish articles and presentations from the meetings; communicate in discussion forums; distribute e-mail newsletters; create blogs; share files and photos; and create member-only areas. Kentico CMS to Support Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008

Kentico Software announced that the new version 3.1 of their Web Content Management System will support Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008. Kentico Software will release a new version 3.1 of their Web Content Management System Kentico CMS for ASP.NET in the middle of March 2008. The new version will work with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 that will be launched on February 27. This news comes soon after the company announced their CMS supports Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and Microsoft IIS 7.0 at the beginning of February. Kentico CMS will keep the support for Windows Server 2000/2003 and SQL Server 2000/2005 as well.
