OnPoint Digital, Inc., an online learning and mobile solutions provider, announced the release of several new and updated CellCast Mobile Widget applications facilitating anytime/anywhere learning to mobile enterprise workers. The new Widgets allow mobile learners with devices based on Google's Android environment, and smartphones based on Nokia's Symbian, to receive and launch tracked assignments and tests on their mobile devices. OnPoint has also added on-device training support for Microsoft Windows and Android-based netbook-style ultra portable computers. Previously released were CellCast widgets for content delivery/tracking to BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds, Apple iPhones & iPod touch media players, and Windows Mobile devices. OnPoint helps managers and developers alike to prepare, package, deliver and track a wide variety of content, including voice, SMS messages, HTML/PDF files, audio/video clips and animated slideshows, to a user's cellphone or smartphone. New content is first loaded into OnPoint's Web 2.0-based content management interface, then automatically transcoded into device-specific, smartphone-ready deliverables. Next, mobile content is assigned to users or defined groups with drag & drop screen interactions. OnPoint's CellCast Solution also includes tools to analyze content access and test or survey results using drill-down reporting, interactive dashboards and collaborative features. http://www.onpointdigital.com
