FirstSpirit Version 4.2 Release 2 Announced

e-Spirit announced a new version of its content management system (CMS), FirstSpirit Version 4.2 Release 2 (4.2R2). It offers new functions and upgrades for editors, template developers, and administrators working in the previously released 4.2 series. The update from 4.2 to 4.2R2 can be carried out without project migrations. Overview of new features: Microsoft Internet Explorer for the integrated preview; Addition of Dutch language; Full-text search in FirstSpirit online documentation and Access API; Mac OS X optimizations; as well as filtering, search, and limiting of displayed data records. As of this release version, e-Spirit is making a few changes to its release management procedure: Rather than the usual "build versions" that were used up to FirstSpirit version 4.1, which included error corrections along with smaller new functions, e-Spirit will now make a clear distinction between two software version types within a minor version series. Bug fix versions will only contain error corrections, while release versions will additionally include various new functionalities. http://www.e-spirit.com
