Platformic Announces Integrated Social Media Platform

Platformic has unveiled its new SocialSite Social Media Platform. SocialSite is designed as a complete, integrated social media creation environment that aims to allow companies to build customizable, complex communities to attract and retain website visitors. With the new product, website administrators should be able to integrate social networking and social media functionality into Platformic Enterprise websites without requiring code, ftp, manual style sheets or JavaScript. Website visitors should be able to create their own user profiles, blog, comment and recommend content to other users, and add rich media, such as photo galleries and video. Site members can invite friends and message each other based on their privacy settings. Comments, recommendations, ratings, and other user generated content (UGC) can be searched via Platformic’s SiteSearch, which indexes all article, user, and rich media-based content. Site administrators can search UGC in different ways including by category, most recent, most popular and most recommended. Administrators will be able to place SocialSite modules on any page and configure how user content can be displayed and integrated into the website.
