Workshare Integrates Document Comparison and Audit Technology with QUMAS

Workshare and QUMAS announced a partnership to offer customers a document lifecycle management solution. With this partnership, QUMAS customers can enhance their existing compliance investment by leveraging WorkshareOpen, a platform that offers a set of open APIs for document comparison, policy management, and auditing. The core of the WorkshareOpen platform, Workshare's content analysis engine, has been integrated into the QUMAS DocCompliance product to provide customers with document comparison, change control, and compliance solution. The partnership will also provide Workshare with additional exposure to nearly 300,000 QUMAS users. Integrating QUMAS DocCompliance and the WorkshareOpen platform provides a document lifecycle management solution that enables organizations to create, manage and securely store all content, reports and records while maintaining a compliance-ready state. Through customizable security policies, the system automates and controls the review, approval, distribution and management of documents as well as policy changes, providing 100 percent traceable accountability throughout the organization. The combination of DocCompliance and WorkshareOpen enables users to provide change control over documents in workflows, with visibility into an audit trail of document activity.
