RSD Releases Folders 5.1 and Doc2Print 2.1

RSD announced the availability of two new product releases: RSD Folders 5.1 for Windows, Linux and UNIX, and RSD Doc2Print 2.1. RSD Folders 5.1 for Windows, Linux and UNIX includes several key enhancements. The new release includes new security and activity tracking capabilities, expanded document capture options and scalability improvements. Security enhancements include support for secure LDAP, LDAPS. RSD Folders 5.1 has new activity tracking features which allow authorized users to review all user activity in the RSD Folders repository. Document capture enhancements enable management of a broader variety of AFP data stream types. In addition, RSD Folders 5.1 expands repository index capacity, enabling high performance document retrieval from repositories containing billions of documents. RSD Doc2Print is designed for high-volume printing, particularly in a distributed, multi-platform environment. Doc2Print efficiently automates print management at the department or enterprise level. While Doc2Print is well-integrated with RSD EOS and RSD Folders products. Doc2Print 2.1 includes enhancements to address the demands of high- volume enterprise print environments. This release includes support for 64-bit Windows, expanded capabilities to manage high-volume scenarios like load-balancing and job distribution to multiple printer targets, and support for printer management capabilities like detecting printer status and printer availability. http://www.rsd.com
