Ektron Announces CMS400.NET v7.6 and New Deployment Options

Ektron announced the availability of Ektron CMS400.NET v7.6, the latest version of Ektron's content management solution. CMS400.NET v7.6 comes equipped with new product features and a new deployment strategy to fit the needs of both the small and medium business (SMB) market segment. Ektron has added new features including new URL Aliasing, advanced whole-site synchronization technology, and a personalization framework. Multi-site capabilities have been enhanced as well. In addition to the new product features, Ektron continues to offer a central interface to manage and support marketing channels as well as flexibility with new deployment options available with version 7.6. Customers can now choose from three deployment options including Standard, Professional, and Enterprise. Feature sets included in the deployment options are as follows: Standard: The CMS400.NET Standard deployment supports the core CMS functionality with features such as author-friendly content editing to Web 2.0 blogs, forums, polls and surveys. The Standard's offering also includes Ektron's taxonomy, search and Smart Forms; Professional: The CMS400.NET Professional deployment encompasses all the features found in the Standard offering and adds document management and social networking to the core CMS technology. Features such as URL aliasing and widget-based personalization are included to enhance user experience. Available options include eSync and Multi-site; Enterprise: The CMS400.NET Enterprise deployment provides all of the functionality in both the Standard and Professional packages and includes multi-site support, and Ektron's eSync. http://www.ektron.com
