FatWire Software announced the availability of its FatWire Content Integration Platform and the beta release of the EMC Documentum connector to enable customers to more effectively manage content across highly complex environments. The FatWire Content Integration Platform enables organizations to access content stored across the enterprise, and publish it to their public websites, intranets and extranets managed by FatWire Content Server. The FatWire Content Integration Platform offers a web-services-based peer-to-peer content integration model for accessing and sharing content from EMC Documentum, plus Windows and Unix file systems, and supports a long list of content types such as documents, audio, video, images, and more. FatWire customers can now use Content Server interfaces to access content from across their various business silos for use online. The solution employs strict enterprise standards for maintaining version control, access policies, and workflow applied to documents and content shared. The Documentum integration is part of a planned series of integrations enabled by the FatWire Content Integration Platform and more will be announced later this year. http://www.fatwire.com
