Stateless Systems Launches CushyCMS

Stateless Systems announced the launch of CushyCMS, a free Content Management System (CMS) created to address the specific needs of Web designers. Cushy is meant to make Web designers' work more efficient and productive by enabling them to delegate basic content editing to non-technical users, without giving up control over a Website's information architecture. Web designers can implement Cushy in minutes, without any hosting requirements or software installation. A designer simply enters FTP information, enabling Cushy to retrieve a list of pages from the server, and then authorizes the pages to be edited by applying CSS classes. Web designers authorize multiple content editors to make changes and define, at a granular level, exactly which pages or parts of a page - single lines of whole sections of text, images - can be edited. Non-technical content editors are presented with an interface that enables them to produce standards-compliant, search engine-friendly content all in the browser, without any training or programming skills. Cushy is launching with unlimited free access. In the future, Stateless Systems will introduce subscription plans that enable Web designers to customize and brand the user interface and domain. CushyCMS is free and available to the public on April 15, 2008 at http://www.cushycms.com
