Antenna House Announces XSL Formatter Version 4.3

Antenna House announced the immediate availability of Antenna House XSL Formatter V4.3 offering support for CGM rendering, INX Output (as options), Windows x64 bit platform and numerous other enhancements. Windows x64 version runs on the Windows XP/Vista x64 Edition and Windows 2003 Server x64 Edition. The Windows 64 bit versions enables you to take advantage of the larger memory space supported by the x64 architecture when formatting large FO files. Using the new CGM parser and rendering engine of the option, you can embed CGM images into PDF documents as vector graphics without the degradation of rasterizing. The CGM Option is available for all XSL Formatter supported platforms. INX is the XML file that is used to interchange between InDesign and its older version, or other products such as InCopy and Golive. The INX format keeps all of the InDesign objects and properties as XML elements or attributes. With the new INX Option XSL Formatter generates an INX file from the Area Tree, which is the intermediate Formatter format that contains all the formatting information. By thus outputting INX files from Formatter you can then edit and manipulate the formatting results from XSL-FO with InDesign. The axf:overflow-condense-limit-font-stretch extension property has been added with V4.3. http://www.antennahouse.com
