Ektron Unveils State & Local Government Starter Web Site

Ektron Inc. announced the launch of "Ektronville," its state and local government Starter Site. Ektronville is a fully functional Web site with an information architecture and functional framework designed to help state and local governments meet their online goals and solve Web challenges unique to government agencies. The Ektronville site enables government to citizen communication while making a community's Web site a place to discuss town issues. Town agenda items, police reports and parks can be mapped. Residents can submit reports of potential road hazards while community officials can demonstrate their responsiveness to residents' reports. Government officials can blog and offer unfiltered opinions on local issues while constituents interact in online forums and build a neighborhood wiki of local information. http://www.ektron.com/startersites/
