Sitecore Launches SEO Module Integrated with Web Content Management System
Sitecore announced the launch of its Search Engine Optimization (SEO) module, which is seamlessly integrated into its Web CMS. This e-marketing solution embeds SEO analytics into the day-to-day CMS process, and allows keywords and content to be quickly adjusted over time to keep pace with ever-changing search pattern rules. Now, businesses can build and maintain highly optimized content that is highly rated by search engines into their websites. The SEO module builds on a set of standard SEO capabilities within the Sitecore CMS today including SEO-friendly URLs, and content and template inheritance which allows keywords and content to be automatically distributed throughout relevant sections of a site. Engineered with the marketer in mind, the SEO module allows businesses to view and deliver "content optimized" versions to search engine devices. The module lets marketers see how the search engines will view the website, identifies other sites linked to the website and helps optimize for keyword combinations, density and placement. The module also provides at-a-glance reports of image and linking errors, and provides alerts if fields such as alternate text, description or other meta values are not complete. http://www.sitecore.com
