Interwoven Enhances Composite Application Provisioning

Interwoven, Inc. (NASDAQ:IWOV) announced an enhanced version of the Interwoven Composite Application Provisioning (CAP) solution. The Interwoven CAP solution allows businesses to automate and standardize the deployment of custom Web applications. The new version, Interwoven CAP version 3.0, provides enhanced automation, graphical reporting, and a more intuitive user interface. Interwoven CAP 3.0 provides several new capabilities, including project automation, new graphical reporting, and a more intuitive user interface. End-to-end automation includes no-touch deployment capabilities for Web environments (transactional, fan-out, multi-tiered, scheduled and automated, rollback, etc), and scheduled workflow tasks, managed and monitored through a graphical workflow modeler, makes the change and release process more automated. Graphical reports can be used to provide a visual representation of statistical data associated with applications. Graphical reports include: success vs. failed deployments, workflow and deployment throughput, and average duration of jobs and deployments.
