Vignette Expands Global Alliance Program

Vignette (NASDAQ: VIGN) launched its expanded global alliance program for its Web and Imaging and Workflow solutions. Vignette recently achieved Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program with Microsoft Competencies in both Networking Infrastructure Solutions and ISV Software Solutions. Vignette currently counts more than 200 strategic alliances with hardware platform manufacturers, operating systems vendors, software developers, resellers, system integrators and service organizations. Consulting Alliances provide expertise on overall strategy, business process design and analysis, integration and training, and vertical market expertise. BearingPoint, for example, has been working with Vignette for more than ten years. Solution Alliances provide hardware, operating systems and network and storage solutions for Vignette customers. For instance, Sun Microsystems provides hardware and identity management software for Vignette’s Digital Services Hub solution, which enables organizations to manage and deliver rich multimedia content to any Web-enabled device through a single unified framework. Vignette Product Alliances help broaden the overall Vignette product offerings through integrated complementary solutions that enable organizations make better online connections with their end users. Volantis, for example, provides mobile device recognition and rendering for the Vignette Digital Services Hub. Channel Sales Alliances help extend the reach of Vignette’s brand and solutions into markets where localized sales, service and support is required to assist our customers.
