VORSITE Announces the Release of their MOSS 2007 Search Connector for FileNet

VORSITE Corporation, who connects Microsoft SharePoint as a front-end to Enterprise Content Management systems and critical Line-of-Business applications, announced the release of their new Connector Technologies for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 for Search and the FileNet P8 Platform. For individual FileNet platform owners that decide to utilize the new Microsoft Office 2007 System or begin to integrate using Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 or adopt Microsoft Enterprise Search, this announcement means that their existing FileNet content management platform will still be able to take advantage of the Microsoft technologies and interface. The VORSITE Connector Technologies were designed on the Microsoft .Net Platform and use web services to provide enterprise application integration. These Connector Technologies currently consist of two main connector types: Content Connectors and Search Connectors. Both provide a connection platform for Line-of-Business applications like the FileNet P8 and EMC|documentum Content Management Systems.
