Xythos Expands OEM Partnerships

Xythos Software announced that it has completed agreements with Blackboard Inc. and SAS to extend their OEM licenses of the company’s WebFile Server content management platform. Both have reached multi-year agreements with the company to include its technology within key applications of their core product lines. Xythos’ WebFile Server technology is integrated within the Blackboard Content System, which is part of the Blackboard Academic Suite. The Blackboard Content System is designed to help faculty and students securely share files, manage e-learning content, and develop e-Portfolios. At SAS, Xythos technology is integrated within a variety of enterprise applications including the SAS Enterprise BI Server, SAS Information Delivery Portal and SAS Model Manager. SAS Model Manager uses Xythos’ WebDAV-based technology to manage large collections of analytic models in a secure manner, to promote efficient collaboration among users while sharing analytic models and offers versioning and configuration management capabilities for auditing and compliance reasons. Blackboard clients leverage the Blackboard Content System so that faculty can manage e-Portfolios for tenure requirements and share content between courses, while students can use it for potential employment opportunities, graduation and course requirements. http://www.xythos.com
