The Content Policy and Technology Workshop is a one-day program that helps your company understand the intersection of internal and external compliance requirements, content policies (business rules that enable compliance), and the technologies that are relevant to compliance processes. The goal of the workshop is to enable you to begin creating a roadmap for supporting content-driven business functions that have a compliance context. The workshop is not specific to your content or technology environment. It is a tutorial that helps your company develop a strategy for transitioning your compliance “silos” toward an integrated, enterprise-wide compliance platform, with ECM systems as the core. Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, privacy and data security are all examples of the types of issues a content governance and compliance strategic roadmap might include.

The Content Policy and Technology Assessment is a multi-day, on-site engagement that takes the concepts covered in the workshop and customizes them for your environment. The service is more self-assessment, with Gilbane providing leadership, direction, and technology expertise. We assist you in translating business and legal requirements into appropriate technology choices. The outcome of the assessment is a technology roadmap specific to your content policy and compliance needs.
